A few dens scattered around a large pool of water, that doesn't have many fish, but the occasional crab or lizard.

Stormpelt walked out of the warriors den and stretched. He glanced around, noticing the camp was rather empty. "I wonder where every cat is," He meowed to himself.

Settingstar strode out of his den, tail waving contently above his head. "Morning Stormpelt!" he purred merrily, slipping over to him. "How are you doing this fine morning?"
Sitting down beside him, the handsome orange tom drew a paw over his face, cleaning out all the dirt. "Ah- look at the water sparkle!" he mused, glancing admirably out at his land.

"Hello Settingstar," the grey tom mewed "You seem to be very cheerful today." Stormpelt laughed, "What's gotten you so happy? Did you see a fox trying to swim?"

Settingstar laughed as well. "I'm not sure" he replied pleasently, a twinkle in his pale green eyes. "I guess there's just joy in the air today." Getting up, he stepped over and lapped up some water from the pool in the center of camp. It was sparkling in the sunlight- a beautiful sight.

Stormpelt looked at the dwindling fresh-kill pile. "Do you think we should go hunting? Maybe you will see something to justify your mood." He smiled

Settingstar smiled at him wearily. "I would love to" he replied. "But one of us must look after camp. Enjoy your youth, Stormpelt- go enjoy yourself." Purred the old tom, giving his deputy a nudge towards the camp entrance.

"Fine! Why?" Settingstar asked, utterly surprised. "Okay well... I feel old. Every time I look at you, I remember my deputy days. It all went by so fast, I want you to enjoy it."

Sunripple padded slowly out of her den, giving her shoulders a quick roll to loosen them. Glancing around the camp quickly, she caught sight of Settingstar and Stonepelt having a chat in the center of the clearing. She shrugged, deciding to go join them. After all, there was nothing better to do. "Hello, Stonepelt, Settingstar," she mewed. "How are you?"

"Hello Sunripple," Stormpelt mewed, "We were just discussing a hunting patrol. Would you like to join me?"

Wavecrash crept out of her den, blue eyes scanning the chatting cats. She felt the sudden urge to join, and kicked herself for her hostile appearance. Nodding to them politely, she stalked off to rest under a tree. Once in the shade, the pretty grey she-cat began to bite various bits of moss and debris out of her tangled coat.
Settingstar purred with delight. "Yes Sunripple, you should join your deputy!" he urged, eyes shining.

Stormpelt looked around, noticing that a sleek she-cat with a light brown pelt had appeared out of the apprentice's den. She stretched and padded over to the group.
Dipping her head respectfully, she mewed "Can I go on a hunting patrol with you? I haven't been out of the camp in ages!"
Stormpelt looked at her, "We would have to ask your mentor, Willowpaw." Willowpaw stalked off, tail held high. Stormpelt turned to Settingstar, "I think she wants to see if her brother is out in Tideclan territory," He sighed "That little she-cat is so competitive."
(Willowpaw needs a mentor, any one?)

Ooc; Mmk :3
Ic; Wavecrash noticed her apprentice and was glad for a reason to join the group. "Hey Willowpaw" she greeted, nodding expressionlessly to the little she-cat. The only time she really felt was when she was running- or hiding. There was nothing like that sudden rise of adrenaline. "Why don't I teach you some lessons on stealth?" she mewed.

Willowpaw jumped up, "Ok, that's great!" She yowled and raced to the camp entrance, "So where will we go? Or are we going to stay here? Ohhhh! I wonder if we'll run into any foxes! Or rogues! Then I'll have something to brag to Shallowpaw about! You know he's always so proud about being Troutstar's apprentice. Maybe it will get him to stuff his mouth with moss about it!" The apprentice bounded back to Wavecrash, "Do you think he would be jealous? Oooooh, what if I get to go to the Gathering tomorrow night and he doesn't!? He'd be soooo jealous, his pelt would turn green!" She let out a mrrow of laughter
(I did say Willowpaw was energetic, right? xD)
