ooc; yes, but Reedpaw is very selfish and could care less. You're the mentor, set him straight!

Oceanbreeze gave Reedpaw a sharp smack on the head. "She's in labor, mouse brain! Show a little sympathy!"

Reedpaw wrinkled his nose at the writhing queen. What if she was infested with girl germs? Still, he pretended to look the least bit sympathetic though he could only hold back his impatience for so long. He hopped she would hurry up and give birth already. At this rate he would become an elder before he became a warrior!

(xD I love this place) Morningheart slowly waddled her way over to the nursery, stopping every few steps as her belly cramped again.
Shallowpaw ran to the queen's side and supported her with a shoulder.

Reedpaw watched Shallowpaw running forward to help. There was no way he was going to let his friend/rival get all the credit for helping the queen. He rushed to Morningheart's other side and held her up straight until they got into the nursery.

"Thank you," Morningheart mewed "you're both so helpful." Her body tensed again as another cramp came rolling through her body

Reedpaw ducked out of the nursery, not willing to be around during the actual kitting. He wouldn't even do it if Shallowpaw stayed.

Mistwing, alarmed at the sound of yowling, pushed out of her den. "Morningheart!" She called, running over to greet the she-cat. "Alright, take deep breaths, okay?" She said. What do I do? I've ever done this before! She thought in a panic. "Calm down." She murmured half to herself.

Morningheart looked at her friend and gave a soft purr, "I'm glad you're here." Her sides heaved with the burden they had carried for these last long moons. The contractions began coming more frequently

Ooc; Quite awkward... Mistwing counted in her head, 1... 2... 3... When she reached three, she pushed down on Morningheart's stomach lightly to help deliver the kit.

(What happened to Stoneheart??? xD) Morningheart groaned and a kit gently slid out of her body. The queen licked away the small sack surrounding it and saw pale sandy colored fur. She licked the fur backwards to help dry out her first kit. It was a lovely she-kit, who was rather small, but Morningheart could see the potential brewing under that sandy pelt. "She will be a great warrior." The queen mewed. Another contraction rocked her body, but she made sure that the newborn kit could suckle before laying down again.

Oceanbreeze followed and nodded to Reedpaw, respecting his decision to be outside when the actual kitting begins. She didn't like being there either, but the grey-blue she-cat had to be there for her friend.

(ooc; Jagoo usually plays Mistwing as a med cat. . . I think she lost track of her characters XD) Reedpaw flicked his tail impatiently. He was torn between the impulsive desire to kill something and his duty to stand guard of the nursery with Oceanbreeze.

Shallowpaw padded over to his friend Reedpaw, "Calm down. It's a good thing the clan has new kits and you know it," He sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws "One is already out. A sandy little she-kit. I wonder how many more she's got..."
Morningheart groaned, another kit about to come.

Troutstar had been going to take Shallowpaw out for training, but now that Morningheart was having her kits, he was watching the little lives be born. Reedpaw and Shallowpaw were murmuring among themselves, and he watched the little sandy kit take its first breaths. "Welcome to TideClan, little one," he purred.
