Adoption is for when a character becomes terribly inactive, (and another user must overtake it) or for newborn kits of which the character who gave birth's user does not want to play. Once all the characters are adopted, the thread in which the adoption was created will be locked.
Newborn Kits~
The user who plays the mother of the kits will always make the thread. She is the one who makes the final decision on what the kits will look like, and be named. Unless the user gives anybody else permission, she is the only one who can accept which bio will be chosen for her kits. If you would like to adopt a kit, you must fill out a bio and post it in the appropriate clan board. Then, link it here and wait until you are accepted.
Unwanted/Inactive Characters~
The rules for this are similar to those of the newborn kits. If you would not like a kit, but a full grown cat, you'd best look here. All the user needs to do is create a thread, as said in the newborn kits, and post their expectations, and anything they'd like the new user to do with the character. The new user does not have to make a bio (unless the current user of the cat expects them to.) Sometimes, (if the current user of the character doesn't know your skill and activity level of roleplaying) the current user will make you post a roleplay sample. If the current user is inactive for many days, an admin or mod will make the adoption thread.
