Reedpaw bounded ahead of the group until they reached the sinister puddle of black liquid. "What are we going to do about it?" He asked, trying not to breath in the foul stench of the oil.

Oceanbreeze followed her apprentice with long strides. Stopping at the pool of black, she sat down next to him. "Oi, this's a doozy" she said with her strong Australlian accent. "Might I suggest digging a hole? We could lead this junk away from the clans, eh?"

Ragestorm froze mid-step, her nose wrinkling in disgust. "It smells like fish dung ((see what I did there? Fox-fish-fox-fish xD )) ," she remarked, swiping her paw over her nose. Upon further examination, she noticed that the oil had traces of water in it. Oceanbreeze's comment made her nearly snort in exasperation, but for once she kept it to herself. "Dig a hole? And then what? The plants around here will die. The water in the earth will become polluted with this foul liquid. No, there has to be another way," she explained. Certainly it would be bad if any of this "oil" got into the ocean. There wasn't enough to contaminate all the water, but it would still be bad.

Aquapaw bounded toward the oil, as she was trying to exaime it, but stoped quickly in disguist. Unfortunately, some of it got onto her paws. "It's sticky!" She complained as she tried to wipe it off onto the ground. "But watery as well." She had an idea! "What if we soak up some water, bring it here, then try to wash the oil out of our territory?" She suggested to the others.

Oceanbreeze thought about Cinderpaw's idea. "No no, I'm 'fraid not" she mused, shaking her head. "The water woulda just mixed with the oil, then there would be more oil. And Ragestorm, all the fish would die, leaving the clans deprived of food. Maybe Cinderpaw is on to something though... If we soak up the oil with moss, we could just dispose of it. Or we could keep it, and use it at a potential battle weapons."

OOC: Ragestorm never said anything about putting it in the water...
Ragestorm nodded, ponderig their options. If they used it as a weapon, they could gain the advantage over RippleClan. It sounded a bit evil, but since when did she care? "We could soak it up with moss. And then perhaps find a very sandy place to bury it. Afterall, plants don't really grow in the sand." After another moment she added, "Perhaps someone should consult StarClan. It could be a sign. Maybe they have an idea for getting rid of it."

"Or we could just bury it by the border. The smell would be enough to scare any Rippleclan patrols away," piped in Reedpaw, his gaze transfixed on the shiny stuff.

Ooc; Talking to Aquapaw o3o
Ic; Oceanbreeze shook her head at Reedpaw's idea. "No no- we'd kill all the plants around it. Ragestorm, not a bad idea. Def'natly consult! Sand is the perfect place" she praised the warrior with a dip of the head.

"I thought we were trying not to poison the water supply," mewed Reedpaw dejectedly.

Ragestorm flicked her tail at Oceanbreeze, not really sure how to respond to the compliment. Resisting the urge to cuff Reedpaw, she said, "Not near the water. The sand around here stretches pretty far; how hard could it be to find a place that doesn't reach water and isn't inhabited? Besides, the sand will probably dry it up. " The grey tabby waved a paw in the direction of the coast and the sand.
